Euro Motors Jaguar Land Rover proudly announced its sponsorship of the annual Poppy Ball on Friday, the 09th of November 2018 at The Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel.

The annual charity Poppy Ball was organized by the Bahrain British Business Forum (BBBF) in conjunction with the Bahrain British Association (BBA) from Saudi Arabia. The ball is a time-honored tradition that commemorates Remembrance Day and the end of World War I. The event was also organized to raise funds in support of the Chelsea Pensioners Appeal and the Mother & Child Welfare Bahrain. Members of the BBBF, military VIPs, representatives from the British Embassy and local business dignitaries attended the Poppy Ball event.

Euro Motors Jaguar Land Rover participated in the annual charity event by providing the prizes of the grand raffle draw that took place during the ball. The first prize winner of the raffle draw was given a unique opportunity to experience any Jaguar or Land Rover vehicle for a full day test drive. The second prize was a driving experience voucher for 2, while the third prize being a passenger experience voucher for 2 at the Land Rover Experience Bahrain. Being one of the main sponsors of the Poppy Ball, Euro Motors Jaguar Land Rover had the Jaguar F-PACE and Land Rover All-New Discovery on display during the event.

Speaking about the collaboration, the General Manager of Euro Motors Jaguar Land Rover, Mr. Stephen Lay said; “We are extremely honored to once again be sponsoring the annual Poppy Ball. It was a great privilege to be part of such a prestigious event that pays tribute to war veterans who have given their time sacrificially to their country. The Chelsea Pensioners are former officers of the British Army who served in the ranks for at least 12 years and are residents at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, which is a retirement home and nursing home located in Chelsea, London.
